Windows 11 launched
As of today, Microsoft has released Windows 11. The upgrade will be available for free to any Windows 10 devices that support the Windows 11 system requirements.
To run Windows 11 you will require a supported 64-bit CPU, a computer that includes a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) version 2.0 and a minimum of 4GB RAM (8GB+ recommended). The new operating system is only available in 64-bit (x64).
Squirrel Solutions Ltd has evaluated a pre-release version of the OS and found it to be stable and ready for prime time deployment. All PCs and laptops ordered from today will therefore be supplied with Windows 11 Pro unless Windows 10 Pro is requested at the point of ordering.
A new version of Microsoft Office is also anticipated.
Please note that we will continue to support Windows 10 for the forseeable future.
