Michael Brady migration begins
Michael Brady Ltd, the upmarket London-based builder, has now begun the process of migrating away from Windows XP, ahead of next April's End-Of-Life date.
Michael Brady Ltd have been a customer of ours for around 9 years now, and we are happy to be able to assist them in ensuring that this transition runs smoothly.
We supplied a brand new 2TB unix server for the firm last summer to replace their ageing 80GB model from 2005, and have recently replaced the first batch of their desktop PCs with brand new 64-bit systems running Windows 7 with Office 2013. The second batch will follow in the next few weeks. This will complete the migration.
Any of the company's old computer systems that are still servicable will have the data on them securely erased, then be refurbished and donated to charity.
